1. Passport/Visa - The most important items you should have before you step out of your house is your PASSPORT and VISA. DO NOT leave without these!

These items will allow you to pass through immigration when arriving to and from each country. As many international countries require a Visa, NOT all request it. You can find out if the place you're traveling to requires you to have one at my

" Places that require Visas" post.

The fun thing about Passports is EVERY country you visit, your passport gets stamped as proof that you've visited. That way you can tell your friends & Family.

2. Photo copies of your passport - A smart tip to follow is making photo copies of your passport incase of the unfortunate event, you lose your original passport. You DO NOT want to get stuck in a different country alone while your friends and family say goodbye through the inside of the plane.

3. Converter / Plug adapter - Okay! so, I completely forgot to bring this with me when I went to Dubai, and when I tell you ; it was the worst mistake!! You always want to bring a converter, or plug adapter when traveling over seas. The outlets are not like the ones in the U.S, they look like mini transformers Ha! Remember to buy in advance. You can purchase an adapter at a local Target for only $12.00 (Cant Beat That!)

4. Phone/Charger - and of course! Bring your phone charger AND your actual phones with you! Its 2017, I'm sure you won't leave them. Also, If you plan on making calls to the U.S feel free to buy calling cards, unless you can afford $268442 on International calling fees. You're welcome in advance!

5. Neck Pillow - Aaah, the wonderful wonders of a neck pillow! These are handy for your LONG flights, as most international flight are. Place these bad boys on your neck to sleep and hello la-la land! ZzZzZzZz

6. Your Camera - Memories are EVERYTHING! Take pictures of everything to keep forever!

7. Language Dictionary - Hablas Español, Français ? C'est formidable de parler différentes langues. Stop using Google Translate and invest in a Language dictionary would ya?!

8. Guidebooks - You don't want to walk around a new country like a chicken with no head! Guidebooks usually include Maps, Keywords, or phrases. There are guidebook apps too like Gogobot. Enjoy!

9. Medication - If you take any daily medication, please don't forget to take these with you and do not place them in you checked luggage. Always have them on you incase your bag leaves without you! Remember? you need to SHOW OFF your passport and photos to your friends and you cant do that in the hospital in Greece!

10. Money Converted - Last and not least, convert your mula baby! That's money, for those who didn't know. You can find out currency conversions in my post titled "Currency Conversion"

I hope this checklist helped you prepare for your next trip!
